Although it may not be entirely clear from the current name of the organization, we also represent the interests of both postdocs and research assistants at DTU. And whilst many of the systemic challenges pertaining to the life of early career researchers are shared amongst PhD’s, postdocs and research assistants, there are also some key differences.  

Our postdoc team works in unison with the other workgroups, making sure that the events team (hyperlink) also organize professional events relevant for postdocs, such as an event focused on making the path to tread through the jungle of grant application a little clearer, or roundtable discussions on the challenges pertaining the postdoc life.  

In addition, this year (2026) we have begun the construction of a postdoc survey in a similar fashion to the PhD-survey. We find this to be a very important endeavor, as PhD’s and postdocs together make up over half of all the scientific personal at DTU.
