The board management functions as a central node within the organization, coordinating the activities amongst the different working groups. This group consists of the Chair, Vice-Chair, and Treasurer, besides other members of the board. While administrative tasks account for the majority of our work, we also ensure a good flow of information among the different working groups, thereby enabling an efficient workflow within the association. We don’t aim to implement a top-down approach to managing the organization, but rather work to facilitate the important conversations among members to help the association make informed decisions on its important matters of interest.
The board management is also responsible for the political profile of the organization, coordinating both internal DTU politics with HR and the Dean responsible for PhD studies, as well as external politics in collaboration with the national network of PhD students in Denmark (Hyperlink PAND?) and labor unions such as IDA and DM.
